I'm Chen Yang, a student at Purdue University studying Computer Science and Applied Statistics. I'm interested in software engineering, systems design, machine learning, and building products that solve real problems.

I enjoy working across the stack — from designing clean APIs and scalable backends to building polished front-end experiences. I've also spent time doing research in ML and data-driven methods, which has given me a strong foundation in both theory and practical implementation.

Outside of academics, I'm involved in technical clubs and hackathons on campus. I like collaborating with others on ambitious projects, learning new tools quickly, and shipping things that actually work.

When I'm not coding, you can find me exploring new music, playing basketball, or reading about systems and technology.
